Friselle con le mandorle (almond breadsticks) are a traditional delicacy from Matera. They are prepared in two stages: first, the dough is made with almonds, then the breadsticks are left to dry, cut and baked again.
They are prepared by hand using only selected high-quality ingredients: 00 flour, caster sugar, whole eggs, almonds and ammonia. Bourbon vanilla beans are used for flavouring.
